Do the marines in the Iwo Jima statue actually look like the real marines? I'm not sure it's even that detailed.

The thing that always strikes me about stories like this is that if 3 'minority" firefighters had been free at that particular moment, and raised the flag, creating the picture that circulated around the world; changing their race in a statue would have been unthinkable. Dissing whites to enhance minorities is ok. Just don't ever try it the other way around (sarcasm)
