My wife just called from the interstate on the cell phone and nearly hit a creature 7 to 8 feet tall. My son and her both saw this creature go over the guard rail on I-80 near Multnomah Falls,Or This creature was moving towards the Columbia River from the west-bound lane at 9:15pm Pacific. Does anyone know where I could report this sighting as it appears to resemble a bigfoot. I am serious and this is not a joke. I have been on Freerepublic for four years and would not pull any kind of stunt. Please let me know who I might contact about this Thanks.

Sounds like they need a "Bigfoot Crossing" sign on the highway.
Seriously though, your family went through a near accident and the signage should at least indicate that there is large animal crossing through that area.
In Texas, there is a pheonomenon known as the Marfa Lights which can be seen in the evenings on the outskirts of Marfa. There is a roadside marker to indicate a good viewing site.

My hairdresser drove to Naselle near Long Beach, WA years ago and had a similar experience. She was driving home by herself on a dark road in the coast range area. She said her headlights picked up a very tall two-legged creature covered with lots of dark fur/hair emerging up the steep roadside embankment. She said she was so afraid, she closed her eyes and sped up to get away from it. To this day, she still brings up the incident from time to time.
