Chamberlain said the same thing about NAZI Germany..... Look at the Chinese arms shipments after 9-11....look at the truth about the Chinese pact with the Taliban and Al Quaeda on the very date 9-11 . Who benefits ? Remember Sun Tsu " No nation has ever benefitted from a protracted war." If a global anti-guerrilla war is not a protracted war then I do not know what is. Who benefits? The non-direct foe on the sidelines. Who loses ultimately from a protracted war? Read Sun Tsu. We do. China gains . We lose . Don't you think the Chinese are capable of devious and viscious foreign instigation? You must not remember the seventies and the Chinese sponsorship of terrorism then. It is not new. Wake up !

If China were out to conquer the U.S., the last thing they would do is kick us in the shins to piss us off and put us on alert. China thinks long-term, and therefore would more likely bide their time quietly while their military capabilities get up to speed. Right now, they suck.

The real fallacy, I think, is the premise that the Chinese want to take over the U.S. at all. They (their leadership) are not idealogues. They want power and money, yes, but they don't buy Marxism any more than I do. A Chinese attack on the U.S. is unlikely, unless instigated by a lunatic military fringe. Now Taiwan......
