Well, you brought it up with your response to me. Thought maybe you were trying to inject some sort of anthropomorphic sentimentality on the lion when you described him as staying home with the kids while Mom went hunting.

Egads, no. I have detested the bad rap that male lions are getting since some nit did research and discovered that the female lion did the hunting. He isn't even made for the long distance chase and hunt. Look at him, he is made for close-up combat. Male lions are just as important as the hunters to the survival of a den. It's a lion eat lion world out there. 8^)
