I have pledged to not attack the Catholics on here anymore, but I will respond to this. It is NOT true. The differences between Baptists in the 1600's and now is night and day. For example, many were Calvinists...not anymore. The Baptists have been taken over by a man-centered business Christianity.

This is one of the fundamental Baptist doctrines at that site: "Its laws and doctrines: The New Testament and that only."

Do the Baptists not read Jesus when he says "I have not come to abolish the law (i.e. the OT)" and "not one jot and tittle" will pass away????

He was right, remarkably similar to "Mormon" histories. You guys have gold plates too proving this fanciful history? Or were they taken up into heaven with Joseph Smith's?
