Yeah, I was hoping the President would announce that he had made recess appointments of ALL those who he has nominated. Wouldn't that have been a great slap in the face to Daschle?? And ... by the President doing that - it would mean the topic of conversation at the Sunday shows WOULD NOT BE ABOUT DASCHLE!!!
Of course with this "over my dead body" statement, Bush will be back in the spotlight again - and Daschle's speech will get second billing - I like that!!
