I couldn't agree with you more! Have you had a chance to go to one of father's retreats or parish missions? I love to hear him talk about the prophet Elijah! Fr.Corapi's eyes start to sparkle and his voice starts to rise.I bet some of the old prophets were great speakers, just like he is!He reminds me of say,St.John the Baptist or Elijah.

I was just surfing through Yahoo.com looking for more material on Fr John when I came across this little tidbit about the 2000 Presidential election:

George W. Bush’s election . . .

His brother, Jeb Bush, is Governor of Florida. Jeb is Roman Catholic and married to a Hispanic woman. During the election crisis Jeb’s wife made a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico to pray. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the patroness of North and South America and patroness of the unborn. On December 12th, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Jeb’s wife prayed for the administration of George W. Bush and consecrated it to Our Lady. On that very same day George Bush was elected. Isn’t that awesome?

A bump for Fr. Corapi, I was fortunate to see him at a nearby parish, spent the whole day listening to him talk, and we have the tapes from the talks, it was wonderful.

Can't forget a big bump for Our Lady also, Fr. Corapi is very dedicated to her. I remember what he said about her (in a very loving way) during the talk he gave "your mother wears combat boots." It was great.

That sounds great! LOL! I hear from the grapevine that he will be coming down to my area of the woods(San Bernardino County,CA)sometime this year.I hope,God willing to go and see him.The last time I had the good fortune to see Fr.Corapi was when a friend and I flew up to San Francisco for a day of Recollection at St.Cecilia's Catholic Church. It was fabulous.Fr Fessio was there too.St.Cecilia's is a very beautiful church and what a warm, sunny and beautiful day in San Francisco it was too! Not a cloud in the sky.

I haven't had the chance to see Father Corapi in person yet. I unfortunately missed him last time he was in town. But I won't miss him next time!

You're welcome! I hear that if the merger is approved than DishTV will mix it's programs with DirecTV,in which case,we should be able to watch EWTN! I've been waiting YEARS in order to watch EWTN!

I, too, have had a Similiar reconversion, though I am no priest or public speaker.
