You mimic the whining socialist claims of liberal geeks who claim info wants to be free when you say that.

Actually the socialists agree with you. Nuclear Threat Initiative : Global Security Newswire is a $250 million dollar Ted Turner peacenik creation and they are against dropping the restrictions. Euro-trash socialists are also upset with Bush's decision. None of these people want America to be competitive. They want export restrictions exactly because they are no longer needed.

I won't defend Beelzabubba. He gave them hardware & software. He was, is, and always will be a traitor. Allowing to purchase american built hardware does not, nor will ever, assure their ability to destroy us.

Bush simply allows them to buy the hardware (I'm sure the real sensitive stuff is under lock and key NOW). Clinton sold them the whole package! The Chinese have intelligent code writers but we dance around them at every turn. Reason: we have a free society, our thoughts are our own. I don't think they can figure out how to launch a missle attack with a Pentium 4. We could, but that's our secret. A 12 year old hacker could probably break all of China's communications in a weekend with twinkies and diet Coke!

Be assured, the President is no dummy. We've got them every which way from Sunday.
