Gretta!.......UGH!
To: Political Junkie Too
Yes! This whole attitude of dragging these bums in and asking for their opinion or take on current events only ADDS A DEGREE OF CREDIBILITY OR LEGITIMACY to the bums....sort of like addressing or re-arranging their 'legacy'! Ticks me off royally.

Who knows.....maybe that is the end goal of FOX.....run as many conservatives away as possible and then, somehow, feel justified in 'showing their true colors' like the rest of the media.....LIBERALS!
Won't it be a hoot when Janet Butch Reno loses to Jeb and FOX News Network hires her....actually, when they hired Zahn, I began thinking it won't be long and we'll see Jocelyn Elders...a new show perhaps, called, "For The Chilrun".
Won't bother most conservatives, though......they keep moving their own 'line in the sand' backwards, time and again....

"For The Chilrun" ROTFLMFAO......!
To: Capt_Hank
The only logical explanation can be that Fox is trying to prove to the world that all Media Wh*res can be bought and will change the tone of their reporting to suit their bosses.

Time to email Fox. This is nausiating...BARF !!!!!!! I just did. If they hire her, I won't be watching them anymore. There is no way I'll give any support to the bait-n-switch cult Scientology if I can possibly help it.

"Liberals win by destroying things from within. This applies to anything they touch. From the takeover of the Media, Education System, Arts, and even entire states, liberals always destroy by sneaking to the inside of their enemies and gutting them."
Yes, yes, yes. Look at the mainline Protestant churches.
To: Silly
The liberals don't have to worry about conservatives beating them. Conservatives always out do each other and the parties they are members of always fall apart because someone is not conservative enough or too liberal for the rest of them. Just look at the attacks on libertarian thinking on this BBS. Oh god can't have people who believe in small government, no gun control, pro private property rights and states rights if they think that drugs should be legal as well!
This will bring down Foxnews and CNN the liberal castle will rise again.

Isn't Hannity & Colmes directly across from Larry King? I heard on the radio today that she was the replacement for Paula Zahn's old Fox 10:00 (EST) time slot.
To: Rokke
No, next is Chris Matthews.

Well, I hope Fox News does not lose Lorie Dew to CNN.
It would be like trading away Ann Coulter for Rosie O'Donnell.

I'm cracking up imagining a Greta with lip implants and dewy lipstick.

WTF??? On top of being an extreme leftist, Greta is uglier than dirt. The only reason most people I know watch Fox is to get away from people like Greta. I suspect this will backfire bigtime on Fox -- many of their viewers will just turn off their TVs altogether before consenting to Greta on Fox.
To: 3catsanadog
If that's true, and she really is replacing Zahn, I'm glad -- Zahn has always struck me as being a bit vacuous and airheaded.
Say what you want about Van Susteren, she is -- in cable news, anyway -- a heavyweight and a serious talent. She will bring credibility to FOX, and her move will hurt CNN, which will be seen as a falling star.
I've been trying to find an explanation for why she turned down a larger counter offer from CNN. There are two obvious possibilities: 1] They gave her the counter offer after she had already signed; and 2] She just didn't want to stay at CNN for some reason.
But there is another possible reason why she took a smaller offer from FOX: It is possible that she has ambitions for things greater than CNN will ever allow her to do. Perhaps at FOX she will be able to take on more reponsibility or have more control or something -- I don't really know, I'm just guessing.
Whatever happens, I think it will ultimately help FOX and hurt CNN. I'll be interested to see who is next...

Good idea - I think I'll change my dog's evening constitutional to 10:00 pm EST.

Anybody seen Geraldo lately... I noticed since he volunteered to quit if anyone found out he was lying about his reporting, he hasn't been on...
At least we haven't seen him on lately.
