Ugh. Greta grates, IMHO. What's next? Bill Schneider?Bill Schneider proves the point that the less talent and knowledge you have, the more CNN features you as an expert.
To: rintense
You know, I wouldn't even like her if she was conservative. She offers really nothing by way of entertainment. At least Geraldo does some stuff that makes you watch. Gretta, on the other hand, has that constant look on her face like she's just finished a big chaw of Red Man chewing tobacco and is struggling to keep from spitting. :)

That's Hannity and Colmes slot!!! What is he crazy!?!?

Greta on Fox?
Wonderful!!
Now I won't have any problem keeping my New Year's resolution to watch less TV!

Greta is going to be on the side of the set... so the camera can get a shot of her lips moving.

Actually this is too sweet. Fox is the place to be. You know you've got "IT" when the other news sources watches you for the news.
GO FOX never get rid of Cavuto!

Who is Fox going to hire next? Larry King. I belive his contract is up at CNN soon. I think I heard Greta's husband was counsel for the Democratic party. It is hard to believe she is going to chnage her stripes. The 10PM EST is a prime spot. Woe is me.
To: YaYa123
You are right about that one. The reason that FOX is different is that it is fair and balanced. The only reason that leftists think it is "GOP TV" is because they actually air Republican views. Going even further, they are honest about their views and admit if they are consrvatives or liberals. You don't get that at other networks.
As for Greta Van Scientologist, I have never quite forgiven her for her lamenting and reliving the halcyon days of the Klinton administration during Bush's Inaugural Weekend and even said "this town won't be as fun anymore" like she was playing pizza delivery woman at the White House. However, she has given a local commentator from KC a fair shake at his Flight 800 show even though CNN has bumped him time and tiem again.

I want to see Gretta (wearing a burqa, PLEASE) and Geraldo (in his Arafat garb) broadcasting from a Tora Bora cave with a first hand report of the impact of bunker busters and daisy cutters.
They report... we ROTFL!

You don't rip that friggin thought processes out of these idjuts just by moving them to a new station, do you?
That skewered a mindset doesn't change it's "spots or stripes"!!

I'm with you on the Geraldo lie bit. I have sent emails to FNC about the coverup and spin control. They no longer reply. I'm sending one now about hiring this disgusting woman. What's next, Paul "The Forehead"?

My FOX News Network subscription was done Christmas Eve....and I've not missed it....you don't need the alphabet soup tv stations to get your news already 'filtered' out for you. :)

Getting Greta for a million a year is chicken feed compared to others (Katie Kouric). I don't watch her now and won't watch her at Fox. She's just not my cup of tea. However, what it does do is send a message to CNN to spend, spend, spend to keep the covey of of other mediocre personalities at home. Roger Ailes is toying with the competition. Good for his ego and keeping CNN distracted, nothing more.

Your post 87 is right on the money. Bring it on, Greta.

I wondered what was happening with her when I heard her SAY she HATED bin Laden and the Taliban. I double checked. Yep, it was ole Greta saying that. Amazed me. It just kills me how she talks outta the side of her mouth.

Re#181 No doubt. It was kinda fun watching him make an *ss of himself and then trying to recover during the election fiasco...

Just because CNN is letting her go, or she's telling them bye bye doesn't mean FOX has to hire her. If FOX's ratings fall, they'll have only themselves to blame.I know, I'm just indulging in a flight of whimsy. I just can't fathom Fox wanting to ruin their image with Von Sternslut. Yuk!

That's Hannity and Colmes slot!!! What is he crazy!?!? FOX needs to dump Colmes, anyway -- Colmes sucks big time. Hannity can make it anywhere, anytime -- he's a class act.

Not a bad story. I hope you're right.
My problem with Greta is not that she reported the liberal point of view, but that she always reported it as if it was true and right.
I want to see reporters who are biased toward the truth and righteousness.
