So we should teach only the history that makes people do what you want them to do? Or even change the history books to say what we want?

History is a case of he said, she said.

Even the theories of hard science, which rest on more rigorous proof than ever we can subject history to, stand only for a moment.

You teach the version of history that makes your society strongest.

Teach a version that weakens your society, and your society perishes.

Who would determine which version of history gets taught? Would that go for religion also?
