Well, perhaps you're just a young guy who can't remember the days when the 'little guys' weren't rotten at all, but lived mostly by the Golden Rule.

Give me a break. If all the 'little guys' weren't rotten years ago, there would never have been a need for prisons. So get over it. This "good ol' days" fantasy that you're harboring is just that: a fantasy. People years ago had sex, raped, murdered, stole, had children out of wedlock, etc, etc.

Get real. I don't have the numbers off the top of my head, but this country was hugely agricultual, at least where I hail from and people were actually friends with their neighbors. Maybe it was different in the cities that suffered the greatest immigration, but there's not much of a choice about that in todays world, is there? ... the farmers are gone and Tyson imports its labor from Mexico, from whom we import most of our food these days (remember the rotten strawberries that made half of Detroit's kids sick). But then, of course, you can't grow strawberries in Detroit anymore, can you?

You are obviously too young to know what it was like 40-50 years ago, and it is proven by your purile knowlege of the"good ol days". You have been brainwashed by the left in school, and you don't even know it. Damn scary, this.
