Because I choose to write posts that aren't likely to give cause for the moderators to pull. That's my choice. One that works for me but perhaps not for others. And these days I too often wonder if some of my posts will ever have more than a 5-minute life. Let me assure you, in less than a year, the way things are going on FR, I expect that many of my posts will suffer the fate that more and more Freepers are experiencing as censorship widens in scope on this forum.
Or are you saying that the moderator did not see it? Why not hit abuse and test it out?
I've made thousands of posts, at least some portion of them provocative and/or radical; only one has been removed, to the best of my knowledge, and that one was personally insulting to another FReeper.(blush)
It seems to me that many posters are unable to post strong positions without becoming defensively vehement. These vehement,'in-your-face' posts often elicit mad responses and threats to complain of abuse. Little wonder.
Let's face facts: few of us are important enough to be worth persecuting; none of us are likely to be arrested or beaten for what we post here.
