Physician Investigating Rabin Murder Says Fatal Bullets Not From Amir

(IsraelNationalNews.com) Dr. David Chen, a physician affiliated with Assaf HaRofeh Hospital, who investigated the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, concluded convicted assassin Yigal Amir did not fire the fatal bullets.

According to an Itim news agency report, the findings of the physician’s investigation were revealed at a press conference at which time the participants demanded the establishment of a government-appointed public committee to investigate and reveal the true events surrounding the murder.

At the press conference held in Beit Sokoloff in Tel Aviv, Yaakov Varker, CPA, presented the findings, explaining the Ministry of Health did not permit Dr. Chen to participate in the press conference and announce the findings. He revealed that the bullets fired by Yigal Amir were copper head while the pathological findings on Mr. Rabin’s body were concurrent with lead bullets.

Also participating in the press conference was Arutz-7 Radio host Adir Zik and author Barry Chamish, who has been investigating the Rabin assassination since its occurrence, publishing books contradicting the official government findings. Chamish has been speaking around Israel as well as across the United States and other areas, explaining his findings that show Amir was not the assassin. Chamish has pointed out many faults with the conclusions of the government-appointed Shamgar Commission that investigated the assassination.

He points out the contradictions between the commission’s findings and the testimony of police Superintendent Baruch Goldstein of the criminal investigations unit, dealing with the distance from which the prime minister was hit. Chamish also pointed out contradictions regarding the number of bullets fired and place of impact as well as other key information.

Varkar called for placing GSS (General Security Service – Shin/Bet) agent Avishai Raviv on trial immediately to obtain his testimony regarding the events. Raviv has been tied directly to events dealing with the case and he has been charged with not preventing the assassination. Nevertheless, his scheduled trial has already been postponed on eight occasions.
