Foxnews, the web, FR, and other alternative news sources reach only the interested, the involved and the intelligent. The voting masses still rely primarily upon the boob tube.

Have you noticed that the useful-idiot Washington press corps (with the inexplicable exception of Helen Thomas), has become somewhat less so post 9/11?  

One example: Eleanor Cliff actually selected bill clinton as the "McLaughlin Group Loser Politician of the Year." (Admittedly, Cliff didn't abandon useful idiocy completely; by giving as her reason for selecting the rapist some lesser clinton achievement than causing 9/11, she was implicitly denying that clinton did, in fact, cause 9/11.)
