A number of years ago, a sister church to mine was picketed by employees of an abortion clinic (in Philadelphia) that had been picketed by members of this church. They made such a ruckus that the church could not hold Sunday morning services. So they cancelled services and got donuts and coffee and went out to offer them to the protestors and talk with them. Their disruptors were startled to say the least. Who knows whose heart may have been touched in this unexpected way. I agree with you entirely!

Loved your story of the church members canceling their services to go out and offer donuts and friendship to the abortion workers. It is an inspiration for all of us. Maybe that's why the pro-aborts don't picket churches too often. :-)
