May we meet someday to discuss the conversion of DEA HQ to a shopping mall or museum of government atrocities.
For over 2 years I have seen the same thing from Roscoe and CJ. The same words, the same broken logic, the same misunderstanding of the Constitution and what a free republic really is. They aren't the only ones, but they are the most agressive defenders of the status quo.
When I first joined FR, I argued, presented facts, showed where their logic is flawed, just as I did last night. Just when you think you have Roscoe cornered, he starts over with the same things he used earlier. Just check his posts in this thread. Used to be, these threads would not last much over 300 posts due to people just stopping because the threads got too long for many computers to load. Now that the forum software shows only 50 posts at a time, you can see where he actually starts to get redundant. He always retreats back to the same tired old arguments.
I would love to start a thread and debate with folks who truly have an open mind. But Roscoe and CJ have proven to me that they only want to disrupt those threads. Roscoe with his one word or one line comments, and CJ with his meaningless, and sometimes disgusting graphics.
One day, maybe, we can discuss what to do with the headquarters of all those alphabet agencies. The DEA is only one. BATF, DOE, HHS, and many, many others are due to be abolished. I don't hold out much hope, but there is always that slight sliver of hope I hold on to.
There are quite a few lovers of liberty on this forum, and they do try. It is encouraging when someone finally sees the light and realizes that those agencies and people who defend them are doing nothing more than trashing the principles behind the foundation of our great nation.
Maybe because I am getting old, but I find I have less and less patience for some who have proven over and over that they are afraid of freedom to the point they want the government to protect them from themselves.
I don't think Roscoe is a narc. I would bet he has been or is a cop. Maybe even a local politician.
