Does this help to explain why business leaders (and Hager backers at the convention) failed to support Earley. Does this back up the warning the Sultan made at the convention? Yes, he was at the clinic, but was not the same old, glad handing, politico he was everytime he came to Petersburg soliciting my support at the GOP Committee meetings. No, he hardly acknowledges the ole Sultan now. Doesn't need his help now. He and Mr. Ed will make a fine team.
