THE FORBIDDEN PICTURE

The Forbidden Picture

Here's the picture that pro-abortionists and the media don't want you to see.

FetusHandDoctorCOLOR600.jpg (36006 bytes)

Picture #2

The tiny hand of a fetus reaches out from a mother's womb to clasp a surgeon's healing finger. It shows a 21-week-old fetus in its mother's womb, about to undergo a spine operation designed to save it from serious brain damage (by the way, at 21 weeks old, this baby could still be legally aborted). The tiny hand in the picture above belongs to a baby which is due to be born on December 28.  It was taken during an operation in America recently.  The baby is literally hanging on for life. For this is one of the most remarkable photographs taken in medicine and a record of one of the world's most extraordinary operations.  The surgery was carried out entirely through the tiny slit visible in the wall of the womb and the `patient' is believed to be the youngest to undergo it.

Dear Friends and Family,

Samuel arrived on Thursday, Dec. 2 at 6:25 pm at Northside Hospital weighing 5 lbs 11 oz and 20 1/2 " long. He was born at 36 weeks but came into the world screaming his head off! He did not have to spend any time in a neonatal unit and came home with us on Monday, Dec. 6.  After viewing an ultrasound of his brain, Samuel's neurosurgeon was very optimistic as he does not have any hydrocephalus and the brain  malformation has resolved. He is moving his legs very well from the hips and some from the knees. He was frank breech (folded in half) in the womb and the orthopedist feels that he has a good chance for walking. He will begin physical therapy next week in order to work out some of the stiffness in his legs that was a result of his being folded in half in the womb. He is also nursing very well.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. We are happier than we ever dreamed possible!

 All our love,
 Julie, Alex and Samuel Armas

Granted, what should NOT be permitted is for those who conducted research on aborted human life illegally to profit from it. Their research should be turned over to others who followed the law. But to throw the research and material away is a shame and it will not bring anyone back to life, nor end the practice.

I find it hard to believe a freeper could say that.

Why should God bless you when you blow it, curse, allow evil images in your imagination, fornicate, masturbate, lie, get even, hit your dog out of anger, back bite, gluttonize... "there is none righteous, no not one". He blesses because he is full of mercy and grace, not because you deserve it. What's more is He lavishes His blessing on His children when they are contrite and seeking forgiveness.

God did not destroy Sodom and Gomorra until the least holy of those naming the name of God were removed. America is home to a great number of believers, and we are living in the age of grace, not law. I am mindful of Jesus' disciples; they asked Jesus if they should call fire down out of heaven to destroy the ungodly... Jesus rebuked them, Luke 9:54. Don't ask for fire lest you go up in flames yourself.

blaming President Bush will not solve anything... if you do blame him we are split and divided

I'm a fan of Dubya, but he 's the one who split and divided us with his fetal stem-cell decision. Scientifically unnecessary, in light of the availability of stem cells from other sources.

Recently I heard word that one of the companies contracted to supply 300 million smallpox vaccines may be using fetal stem cells in the process. How's that for a moral dilemma? You want to vaccinate your kids with that? Cetain emergencey powers in the Homeland Security Act may empower the government to force those innoculations on you.

We won't win if we're dishonest with ourselves, and that was a short-sighted, stupid, and divisive decision by President Bush.

Is it truly ethical to throw away anything useful, whatever its origins?

Seen Fellowship of the Ring yet?

Seriously, though, we don't need fetal stem cells for any scientifically valid reason, and we sure don't need to be creating a demand for them by funding that research. Stem cells are available from umbilical chords, placentas, and other sources.

The Fetal Stem Cell lobby is lying, and it's for money and politics. They are far from the only game in town, and shutting them down won't close any doors to great discoveries in the future...

Other than on those scientists who've cast the lot of their careers with feticide.

The only way that that is true is if America's elections are rigged.

I remember before I had a computer, and read the Ft.Worth times every day, and taped C-Span when Congress was in.

Bush said he wasn't running, Laura said she didn't want him to run. The Bush twins said they didn't want thier Daddy to run for President.

The money poured in, Bush put up a web site saying where all the money come from.

Then, it seems all of a sudden, GW WAS running, and Laura and the twins were all for it.

p.s. I believe elections are rigged.

I see many Americans demanding blessings from God.

I see few Americans with true contrition, and truly seeking forgiveness, post 9/11/01.

Oh yeah, there's much good rhetoric.

But little true contrition.

Your scripture quotes are appropriate though, and I thank you for them.

Am I missing something here? Isn't the article about a corrective, delicate operation performed on an unborn child? The line "a surgeon's healing finger" kind of tells the story. Then it's followed by a letter by some "happier than ever dreamed possible" new parents.

Maybe someone can point out to me where abortion is shown or even hinted at?

Pro-life Back to the TOP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Something I noticed while reading the posts...no one is saying anything pro-"choice", are they? As in it's just that proverbial "blob", not breathing yet, yada yada yada. What's the matter? Can't handle the truth?

Abortion is the antithesis of the precious prenatal life illustrated in the photo.

Proud2brc, anything to add?

It's just that we pro-lifers are so sick of hearing how that baby you see is a blob. Someone who's NOT independent yet, therefore can be thrown away so easily. If you'll note the title of the thread, it should, I hope, tell the whole story.
