I must admit that I'm one of the baiters. It doesn't take much to get people like veronica apoplectic and it's fun to watch their illogical replies. But I also do care about the situation.

Actually, I hadn't seen it from you. And here I thought that Ice Agers could just rise above it all.

I happen to find myself in agreement with veronica on many occasions, but as I said, you and I can differ on where our views on America's self-interest and Israel's converge or diverge.

So let me ask you a serious question...

Since one of the effects of our involvement with Israel is to keep them on a tight leash (scud misiles, Hamas, Hezbollah, Arafat, etc...), would you have a problem if we pulled foriegn aid and simultaneously took off the leash, and let Israel operate in their own self-interest, instead of ours?
