I never said "The Israel lobby is the most powerful." Indeed, if you follow the link provided it goes to a Forbes story about how it's number 4 or 5. $90 billion may be next to nothing in your budget, but for the rest of us it seems like an awful lot. And the price of our fealty to Israel is not to be measured in dollars, as 9/11 made all too clear.

Socialism means that the commanding heights of the economy are state-owned, which is certainly true in Israel's case. Israel was created by avowed socialists: if the "revisionist" Zionists have rejected socialism, to some extent, then that is all for the better, I suppose. But it's time to wean them off the teat of American tax dollars: that would doubtless accelerate the privatization process....

Nowhere in my article do I say that "Israel is religiously fanactic." Only that some politically powerful sectors of it are, such as the "settlers" (most of whom are Americans, by the way). In addition, because of the multi-party system in Israel, the right-wing splinter parties hold the balance of power. That's how a nutball extremist became the Minister of Tourism -- on a platform that would expell all Arabs from Palestine. Some "tourism"!

"6. The Amen corner is bullying everyone to toe the party line in the US. . Evidence: some shitty little rag in Oneida got pistol whipped. LOL. Surely you can do better that this Justin." This example was indicative of a more general trend: am I really supposed to go into each and every example of the Amen Corner spiking news and opinion it hates? Also there is the Cameron series, mysteriously disappeared from the Fox News website. What's up with THAT?

"7. Amiel thinks that the Arab/Muslim world needs to be bitch slapped from time to time, and isn't that terrible?" Amiel and the Amen Corner are preparing world opinion for the ethnic cleansing of Israel and environs, and the creation of a Greater Israel. So, yes, that is pretty terrible.... No, Amiel has it exactly right. That is all those folks seem to really respect, to whit, "stongmen" who act strong. I don't agree that Amiel is a bit player: she is the wife of Conrad Black, who owns the Telegraph, the Jerusalem Post, etc. etc... I am glad to see that you think Ariel Sharon is a war criminal -- but surely we shouldn't be giving political and financial support to his government.

"I have posted all these things. No one has suggested that I am anti-semitic. What might you be missing here Justin?"I suggest you write an article saying that "Most of the settlements have to go," and Arafat should have been allowed to go to Bethlehem," and you might throw in the "war criminal" charge. Then post it on FR and see what happens...

As for #9: you obviously haven't read the stories about Israel now admitting it has nuclear weapons (I believe it was in the Telegraph) and even revealing how they were developed. To what purpose? Clearly, this is meant as a threat.

When you went to the gym before as you said, you developed your muscles.

To what purpose? Clearly, this was meant as a threat by you.
