''Donations of this type reflect certain political realities which are followed by all major corporations,'' Bennett said Wednesday in explaining Enron's $50,000 checks on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

When you need crimminals to help you out of prison time, find the democrap party. Everybody does it.

''It wasn't right to keep it and it wasn't right to give it back to Enron so we're looking for charitable options,'' Ravitz-Meehan said.

Like left wing special interest groups. Why not just keep it? It funds the democraps anyway.

Bennett will represent Enron in dealing with Congress, the news media and investigators. He represented Clinton in the sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Paula Jones, and was the Senate ethics committee's counsel in the investigation of five senators with ties to a failed savings and loan operator.

In other words, he got crimminal activity off before, maybe he can do it again.

When the company was honest, it supported Republicans, but when it went corrupt, it also went democrap. Hmmmmm! Go figure!!!

Nice theory, but the facts do not support it. Enron gave $100,000 to the Republican Congressional Committee in early June of 2001. Their deceptive business practices have been going on for years. It appears that a key business practice of theirs has been to contribute heavily to politicians in order to get special treatment.
