Sinc the concept of allowing ANY passengers on commercial aircraft to carry weapons is (unfortunately) NOT going to happen, what policies DO, in fact, have a prayer of being implemented for personal defense on airlines?
Myself, I drive most places now. And NOT in an unarmed, helpless state. I will, however, have to fly commercial at some point, and I'd like to know if there are some proposals to support that have a chance of succeeding.

I hear that some air charters allow their passengers to fly armed ... but they're expensive to fly across the country. If you only have a state or three to travel across, you might check them out.
