It is my opinion that the first thing to be done would be to educate people on the Constitution and what it means. Unfortunately, most people don't care as long as they have their beer and football, malls and credit cards, food on the table, a roof over their heads and money to spend. Those that don't have these things don't care because they are either struggling every day of their lives trying to keep it together or are on a government handout program of some sort. One cannot educate people that have no desire to be educated. Many people that are aware of what has happened to this country do not have the courage to stand and fight for fear of losing the things they have worked so hard to obtain. We do not have many people today with the courage of the Founding Fathers who are willing to risk life, property, etc. to make things right.

TexanaRED,
Don't give up yet.. FREEPERS are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with, and I believe will be the grassroots organization for ALL future "conservative" leaders..

VCR (Veterans for Constitutional Restoration) is going to be educating the public about it. With the response Neil and I had to VCR, it seems to be an idea whose time has been here and we finally realised it!

Texana....have you been to the Declaration Foundation's web site? They are working with legislatures thru-out the Nation on developing civics criteria/textbooks for the education of our kids.
Richard, you might want to chime in here....
