Not according to any reputable polls.
If abortion had been absolutely wiped off the 2000 election, George Bush would have easily defeated the slimeball, and the Republicans would be the majority in the U.S. Senate today.
In actual fact, according to the only poll cited in this thread, without abortion, Gore would have won a majority of 3 million votes, Gore would now be President, and the Republicans would have 46 seats in the US Senate.
