Do you think that the government should fund scientists who grow babies in a vat so that we can strip them down for replacement parts for the sick? No? Then support life, because arguments about the constitutionality of this or that kind of federal funding are not too compelling, right though they may be. People need to be convinced that this is wrong.
Are you for allowing American families to survive by lowering their tax burden? Respect for the traditional family, which is destroyed along with the right to life in Roe v Wade (i.e., the father has no say over his child's life), is essential to a culture that will promote any of the ideas that FReepers hold dear.
Liberals don't just want a nanny state. That is only a means to their long-term end. They are trying to use the nanny state to destroy our culture, and then to replace it with their values and beliefs.
Gramsci, an Italian Communist, knew that brute force would never lead to real socialism. He discovered that you can only promote socialism in the West if you destroy the influence of Christianity and family values on the population. His strategy has all but totally succeeded in Europe, and it's being implemented here right now. It's something that every patriot must fight, even if he is not a believer.
