Simply put, I doubt any just God would condemn the kid for what he did. But then again you don't believe in a just God.
Let me complete that thought...I don't think that what happened was even a clear-cut ethical violation. Ideally parents should be consulted but I'm not to suggest that they should necessarily have veto power.
