Hey, sorry to break it to you, but like somebody said before, the definition of fornication, according to webster's dictionary (www.m-w.com), is "consensual sexual intercourse between two persons not married to each other." Trust me, it's covered in the Bible. Very clearly.

I am neither expert on fornication nor Jewish, but I was told by a Rabbi that fornication takes place when a married person has sex with another person outside of marriage. The married person is the one guilty of fornication, not the unmarried person.

The unmarried person may be guilty of something though, on that I am not sure. Can you set me straight?

Hey, sorry to break it to you, but Paul neither spoke english nor did he have a Webster's dictionary...

The Greek word is "PORNOS". It comes from a root meaning to sell. It most likely deals with prostitution. It's use in the greek writings of the early church fathers inidicate that it referred to "unlawful sex" in general.

In short, nobody gives a rip how Websters defined some English word 1,900 years after the fact.
