Seems to me that not wanting his parents know is hugely unlawful in the OT.

Seems to me that has nothing to do with what this thread is about...

Even if the parent's had known, you would still be claiming he "fornicated" -- that is, had "unlawful sex."

I'm still waiting for the provision of the law that made his tryst with his concubine unlawful.

So it is okay to break this commandment because you claim it is not unlawful to engage in pre-marital sex.

Don't dodge this approach as to whether what he did is unlawful or not.

I thought the point of this thread was whether what happened was right or wrong.
