I don't keep a journal; perhaps I should. I think it's too easy to "forget" when we are in the midst of sadness or trouble that God answers prayers (this reminds me of Job, complaining that God must not love him because He let all these bad things happen, etc.) and Satan loves it when we're down, casting into our minds doubts and dispersions of ourselves and of God's love (that He couldn't possibly love us because of the sin we just committed, etc.).
Anyways, yes, that's also true how God answers our prayers so often in ways we could never have predicted, in ways we never thought possible (much less thought of).
So true. It still amazes me to go back and realize I'd totally forgotten an "important" prayer..(at the time, anyway) and then to realize how God worked it out in such a quiet, gentle manner. (so much so.. that I missed it!) *chuckle* The gal that led me to the Lord... prompted me to journal so that I could bolster my faith during stressful times. It truly works. :)
