Dear Helen Thomas,

Like many other Americans who wish to be well informed, I take the time to watch White House press briefings. I can say with a clean conscience that I have become totally disgusted with your antics of late. Not only is it highly improper for a White House press corespondent to openly trash mouth a sitting President of the United States but your behavior has become that of a spoiled child throwing a tantrum.

You constantly interrupt Ari Fleisher, ask 3-7 follow-up questions in the form of unsubstantiated accusations and are without a doubt, the rudest person in the White House press core. The rules that apply to all your peers apparently do not apply to you or so you think.

You are an embarrassment to our nation, to yourself and to the 4th estate. I don’t know if you’re getting senile or are just bitter about life but I think it’s high time you retire before you disgrace yourself any further.

Consider yourself lucky that I’m not in Mr. Fleisher’s shoes for if I was, you would be given one private admonishment and one public warning and then your White House press credentials would be revoked. These are serious times we live in and the White House is no place for the rantings of a bitter old fool, which is exactly how you are being perceived these days. You should retire and do so immediately before you will be forever regarded as what a reporter should not evolve, or perhaps mutate, into.
