Even if this is just a case of aliens versus aliens, the maid should have beat her royal highness to a bloody pulp. Nobody has a right to assault another person this way, and the best antidote to it is to beat the bejesus out of them-- or in this case, beat the beallah out of them. Diplomatic immunity may get her royal hieney off scot-free, whereas a good ass-kickin' promptly and properly administered has a certain natural diplomatic immunity that diplomats would do well to consider.
