You cannot come to this country on a one-way ticket even if you are holding a British passport. That's pretty standard internationally. Americans can't go to France, Switzerland, Germany or any country that I can think of without a return or ongoing ticket to leave that country. If a ticket agent and then the gate agent doesn't catch that sort of thing on an international flight the airline is heavily fined, it starts at $5,000 and it goes up. Then the airline has to fly the person back to his boarding point on the next flight.

I know that I wouldn't get within 3 feet of a monitor or TV acting like that. The voltage in a monitor is high enough to throw a six inch spark and there is plenty of amperage to kill you.

Hi,Palo,

we just got back home tonight after a long 9 hour drive! It was cold when we first got to PHX but the sun finally came out and there were sunny warm days. We had a great time. Thought of you as we passed the exit for Tucson. We had a great Christmas and now we are just beat. But I'll check in tomorrow.

Hio, Slinkey! We have been missin' ya! Hope you had a great Christmas. We just got back from Phoenix... near Paloland :) It was a great visit we had. But the 9 hour drive is a killer. Traffic was not too bad until one returns to the home of the fruits, flakes and nuts known as California. Oddly the worst was near Santa Barbara... that seemed strange unless it was a lot of college kids returning early to the jobs they may have as classes do not begin until almost mid Jan.

Hi, Everyone! I am not sure where we are...

Went out to a movie this afternoon following the workout at the gym...had to rest up you know..:).. we saw The Majestic. It's good. I have never been a big Jim Carry fan cuz his antics are just too stupid for my sense of humor but in this he is really good. I think it is more than high time for him to branch out like this. He has more potential than just being a clown.

Hope you all had a nice Christmas.

Tomorrow evening the hubster is taking me out to The Madonna Inn ( it was featured on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous once upon a time) for dinner to celebrate my birthday. ( It is the pits having a Christmas time birthday) But.. I'll get wined and dined in fine style. I just hope the rain stops.

Wanna know what Yummie the cat got for Christmas.. the cat who prefers bathmats to the cat box. He got a box of rocks. Really... I got some of the old fashioned clay litter and mixed the decorative rocks from the garden in it and you know what? He used it. Did not do any bad kitty no nos while we were in Phoenix. He better stay good too!!!! =(^.^)=
