I really don't understand why we didn't camp out 50,000 troops on the Pakistani and Iranian borders to catch any possible fleeing terrorists. I've never trusted the Pakistanis, especially the local Pashtuns on the border inside Pakistan who sympathize with Bin Laden.

How about the federal government starts a lottery on 'where he's captured and alive or dead'? Send in a buck; half goes to underwrite the cost of the war and the other half is prize money.

Trivializes him while providing healthful entertainment for the nations youth.

Like Iran would put up with this hot potato for even ten seconds. Notice the Iranians have been very respectful of America since this whole retaliation thing for 9/11 came up. Maybe America does have a soft underbelly composed largely of subcutaneous fat, but to their alarm and chagrin, a lot of people have discovered said underbelly is protected with twenty-four inches of the finest armor-grade, cold-rolled, case-hardened, nickel-plated, chrome-molydenum-vanadium alloy steel in the world.

Was 9/11 their best shot? It was darned near their last one.

The sources say that bin Laden and close colleagues could have crossed into Iran using smuggling routes with the help of the Mujahideen-i-Khalq, and taken refuge in caves there that are said to be much more extensive and sophisticated than those of the Tora Bora.

Sheesh -- the caves just keep getting bigger and better, eh? The ones in Tora Bora were supposed to be some kind of underground Atlantis but turned out to be little more than holes in the rock. Whatever...

Do you know how long the Pakistani and Iranian borders are with Afghanistan? Over 2,000 miles of rugged terrain. 50,000 men could barely cover that and they would be asking to be picked off in detail.

Looks like wherever Binny Boy really is, the jihadists are doing what they do best--lying to the "disbelievers" in order to advance the cause of jihad!!!!

Maybe Ossie is already dead and the Taliban ossified him under six feet of dirt so that we couldn't pork him.
