It can take up to 15 minutes to get a good set of prints, even with the electronic scanners. (don't ask me how I know) 15 minutes times how many billions that haved to be served? I come up with roughly 14,000 years worth of work (not even counting the associated paper work). If there were 100 people working on the project every minute of every day it would take 140 years. Then all of the people in the data base would be dead and they would have to start over. But let's not something like that stand in the way of our security.

Right.

Soooo, let's start with those who've had preliminary assessment as a potential risk.

Gunowners, for instance.

15 minutes??? Be serious. Many Freepers here submitted their fingerprints for their pistol permits, and it took no longer than 5.
