Looks like background checks will be needed for forestry, and fish and wildlife positions, to keep out that special breed of liar known as an "Environmentalist."

"I'm convinced that there is a lot of that going on for so-called higher purposes,"

Yep ... for the sort of "higher purposed" crowd who believes in population reduction, breeding for perfection, live and "terminal" experimentation for HUMANS only.

Actually, we should prohibit phoney envirals who have or will use enviro terrorism to advance the agendas of the enviral nazis in America, from working in any governmental job!

Then, we should check every judge who might make a decision to back up the enviralist terrorists. If they are card carrying envirals, they are biased and should be recused from making any decision involving the agendas of envirals!

"The employees have been counseled for their actions and banned from participating in the three-year survey of the lynx, listed as a threatened animal under the Endangered Species Act."

huh.
Ahhhh...don'tcha think we're being a *tad* harsh here? </ sarc>
These people are only LIARS who cost the US how many taxpayer $$s?
~geshhhh; I give up.

"Federal officials would not name the offending employees, citing privacy concerns."

...of course; breaking that rule was permitted only for Paula Jones -- sweet Jesus.

Notice this took place under Clinton watch. It's been hard enough to clean house at the top levels of gov't - imagine it's going to take some time to get to these lower levels. Eight years of infestation....

If I were Dictator For Life, the ecofreak organizations these ecofreaks belong to would be the victims of a RICO prosecution, and all members would be sentenced to roustabouting in the ANWR oilfields on 500 calories a day for a period of 10 years or until death.

Had the deception not been discovered, the government likely would have banned many forms of recreation and use of natural resources in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Wenatchee National Forest in Washington state.

These people should be fired! I'm not surprised. The environmental wackos have crossed over the line between common sense and zealotry.

The spotted owl hoax fell apart when one was found living in the sign of a closed KMart (Rush said "But it was an OLD KMart!") Babbitt had the idea years ago for a national biodiversity survey, where people would come onto your property without notice or asking for permission, and not compensate you or even tell you what they did - are those people/that idea still around?

What the right has failed to notice about the environmental freaks is that "environmentalism" has become a cult. Mother Nature is their god, and all morality is relative except that which alters the environment. The only evil is that which harms animals or the environment or infringes on the pleasures of the left. Indoctrination is taking place daily in our public schools, public institutions and mass media through the mind-control of political correctness.

Enviro-freaks are every bit as fundamentalist about their beliefs as any "Born-Again" Christian. We need to expose the fraud of the politically correct thought-control if we are going to break the pull of this movement.

It sounds like a "vast ___ wing conspiracy" that we all laughed about when the shoe was on the other foot, but this is real and maybe that is why Hillary thought of it, in the first place. You know the old saw, "It takes one to know one."
