I will give these pro big government types the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are motivated by fear, and not the desire to see Orwellian society come into being on their watch. Whatever their motivation...the effects of their blind embrace of unconstitutional measures by our government that they feel will "protect" them, will instead lay heavy chains on their children and future generations.
