That does it for me! Implying Bush is worse than Hitler "
(Representatives Tom DeLay and Peter Hoekstra led a small group of the conservative remnant in opposing the $26.5 billion package, which Bush Republicans are trying hard to portray as a prudent implementation of conservative principle. But it is, in fact, the culminating capitulation of the conservative attempt to reform the federal government's role in education.)" is bad enough.
But when he goes on to say that Laura Bush is the "Whore of Babylon" spoken of in the Bible "(It also utterly and finally reneges on one of the most important of President Bush's education policy campaign promises. Candidate Bush called for cutting funds to failing schools and returning to the parents that money in a limited voucher scheme. The bill about to pass Congress for President Bush's signature will give failing schools more money! And the voucher proposal was jettisoned shortly after the inauguration.)"---well OK, he didn't actually say it, but we all know that's what he meant---that's just going too far!
I used to admire this man for being staunchly pro-life and a defender of the Constitution. But with this vicious article attacking our most holy president and his perfect family, he has lost me. I'm turning in my Alan Keyes membership card and my official Alan Keyes decoder spy ring! And I'll never buy another bottle of Alan Keyes chocolate breakfast drink as long as I live!!!
To: Clinton's a liar
Please refund my $29.95 Alan Keyes fan club membership fee. I'm returning the official Keyester hat and the coffee mug, but I'm keeping the "Alan Keyes Gurgling Cod"!

Great article IMHO. Keyes hits the nail on the head WRT education here.
What it is going to take is the good people of this country, in larger and larger numbers, taking their kids out of the public education system and letting it fold in on itslef.
I believe more and more are doing just that and pray it will continue so that the beheamouth falls of its own weight.

Perhaps you should change your screen name. I agree with Alan. Increase federal funding of schools. Bad form for a "conservative".

What are you talking about? I see no reference to Hitler or Babylon. Somewhat of a stretch don't you think...

"But with this vicious article attacking our most holy president and his perfect family [reference to the GWB presidency] ...." -- Keyes For President I think you have your wires all messed up.

BUMP!!!

Ah, the point is proven. When no one shows up to argue with you folks, you feel the need to create controversy.
Have a nice day.
To: Keyes For President
Oh, I get it. You think you're funny.

For eight years, Loyal Democrats refused to acknowledge clinton's broken promises. How dare any Republican remind us of Bush's broken promises.

Someone has to take Mr. Keyes' crackpipe away and slap a tinfoil helmet on his head. I'm done with Keyes for good now, he can go get bent.
To: Keyes For President
You know, what's really funny is that what you may actually accomplish in the long run, is to get people so pissed off at your idiotic comments that they will refuse to even consider Keyes as a choice when it comes down to the wire.
Keep up the good work, Alan Keyes needs more like you around.

Say one thing, then do another? Actively promote policy contrary to the Constitution?
I'm shocked. /sarcasm
Many here have been saying for months that Dubya is just another in a long line of NWO shills. Maybe, someday, some particularly egregious infringement will result in a watershed event, shaking enough of the populace from its lethargy to actually begin to believe.
Maybe...
...someday...

I can only conclude from your editorializing in the title, that you are deliberately trying to start a Keyes flame war here on FR. This is exactly what some of the more vocal Bush supporters here have accused the Keyes contigent of doing. Perhaps you should consider whether doing so is productive in spreading Keyes' message.
