So much criminal malfeasance has occurred over the last eight years, that coupled with the criminal activites prior to it, that accurate attacking of the crimes and problems are currently impossible. the Congress and the various agencies have been staffed with Democratic-fanatics that would do anything to further their cause.

Bush realizes that some action must occur and occur NOW to correct many wrongs, and to (like Regan did in the early 1980's) to bring back American Pride, Civility, and Honor. It is a tough job. But it can be done.

But accomplishing this task requires a realistic apprasial of who your allies are and who are you enemies. he has, I am sure, Correctly identified whom he can trust and whom he cannot. I don't think that he want's retribution for past crimes (as many democrats fear), but rather to totally clean up the system.

Look at how he is doing it.

Is there any public proclamations of this? No. It is all being done strategically and tactically. He had constructed a plan and is now working the plan. Don't be so fearful fellow freepers...

You know, you really hit on something here.

Can you imagine the Bush administration releasing Justice Department documents about the prior administration at this point in time? The media and intelligensia is stewing over the popularity that W. is enjoying, and his proving the pinheads wrong on every turn. If he were to release this info, this would be the opening the Left needs to destroy his image. And you would hear about his "parisan attacks" all the way through the '02 elections. There would be an immediate end to the coverage of our pursuit of bin Laden. Billy Boy Clinton would once again have center stage in the press.

I believe that W. is smart enough to know better.

Politics is a contact sport. I hate to say it, but, sometimes the lack of understanding the political game here is appalling. Simply appalling. There are many here who want the info released, and I ask "For what?" Information contained in the Justice Department documents would only prove what we already know. Yes, ClintonClintonGore is guilty of myriad crimes. But is it wise to go after them now when there are many Clinton-shills still holding positions that would hinder the current administration?

I shudder to think of the political suicide we would commit by our so-called "zeal" to get at the truth at this present time.
