Tripp sucked off the poor all her life. I have ZERO sympathy for her. Let her pal Lucianne who made a name for herself pay her bills. I am not about to give her a cent.

If working for the government means sucking off the poor, then I guess you put President Bush in that catagory too? He does work for the goverment, ya know. Sounds like sour grapes to me that Linda had a good job. I admit I'd love to get a job like that, but that's just not going to happen. Good for her that she did, don't trash her for what she did with her life, after all isn't that what we are all after...that great American dream. Don't shoot down those who achieve it just because you haven't.

So don't donate to keep a roof over Linda's head then - no one's holding a gun to your head to do so.

Just stop bi+ching about something you aren't obligated to participate in.

Larry, that is mean spirited andnot reflective of this season, nor befitting a Freeper. Not wanted to help is your perogative, but spewing vindictiveness is totally inappropriate and exceedingly ungentlemanly of you to do in public.

What she made with the government while working has no bearing on what is happening to her now. When you have little to no income and are unable to find work because you did what you felt was morally correct, you begin to wonder about the moral values of all of the people. As to the benefits, well, she won't draw anything until retirement and for Linda that is a long time off. If I remember correctly Linda was under the old retirement system, not the new three tier system. I would venture to say that she most probably has had to drop her insurance.

I guess Larry, what I am trying to say is, don't make judgements until you have walked a mile in the other persons shoes.

"Sucked off the Poor..."? Because she worked for the Government? Well, gosh - I guess that makes me the same. I was a civilian employe for DOD - for 13 almost 14 years. I guess by your definition then every man and woman who has served in the military or is currently serving in the military is sucking off the poor.

Civilian employees, for the most part work hard, just as hard as and sometimes harder than a lot of non-federal workers.

What if it were your mother, wife, sister, or daughter that had been mauled or raped or beaten by a sexual predator. They could have been anyone of those women that Clinton abused. Wouldn't you want someone to come forward and verify that these things had happened and maybe put a stop to it?

I believe that what Linda did took guts and was very unselfish. I pray that if I came across a similar situation that I would do the same thing.

when i was a small kid, i learned, when you can't say something nice - it's better to say nothing at all.... :) Others may say, it may be better to keep one's mouth shut, rather than to confirm ones substandard mentally
