Why would Newsweek post baby pictures of this tratior? Some sweet, brain washed little boy.

Let the spin begin !

According to his interview with CNN, Walker fought with Pakistanis in Kashmir in the summer of 2001.I say, give him a trial--in India.
The focus on whether he did or would shoot at an American should not be the crucial issue. He admitted that he fought with Al-Qaeda in Afstan and Kashmir. Did he help kill Afghan ethnic minorities? He admitted fighting or abetting terrorism in Kashmir. Get him to confess more. Then "decide" that he has to be transfered to India for his crimes there. Let the Indians have him and try him. This will be the best lesson to teach. Teach America about the world and "consequences." Don't let him come back to America for a media sympathy-fest where consequences for one's actions are suborned in favor of media driven emoting.

I'm already sick of reading about this misfit freak. And it's even more sickening to think that there's a debate going on about what to do with him. He's an outright TRAITOR who should stand before a firing squad! -Is that not OBVIOUS????

He grew up in possibly the most liberal, tolerant place in America, yet he was drawn to the most illiberal, intolerant sect in Islam, the Taliban. They just don't get it.

"doodoo"
We all pick our monikers carefully.
That's exactly what he is.

Lindh, who grew up surrounded by upper-middle-class affluence in California,... Somehow the word liberal upbringing, or anything similar seems to be ommitted from this article about how Johnny Taliban grew up in Marin County, CA.

The liberal media will make a hero of this traitor. That cover photo of Walker gives me the creeps.

I did a little checking and found out that Walker's full moniker was doodoo@hooked.net. Put that into a Google group search and it will bring up several dozen of his posts.

He wanted to be told precisely how to dress, to eat, to think, to pray. He wanted a value system of absolutes, and he was willing to go to extreme lengths to find it. His father says he was not bothered when his two sons rejected the strict Catholic manner of his own upbringing.
Just a bit of disconnect here. Kids WANT boundaries in their lives. His parents didn't provide them.

Where is the article on the CIA agent who died and left a family behind. Let's hear about his life instead of this dirtballs.

Hell, I bet we could find pictures of Adolph Hitler as a sweet-faced little boy.

A video taken by an Afghan cameraman shows Walker sitting cross-legged, slumped silently before the two CIA men. Spann squats down and starts asking questions: Who brought you here? Wake up! Who brought you here to Afghanistan? You can still find the original video on the CBS News site. As of today, its on the web page http://www.cbsnews.com/now/story/0,1597,310701-412,00.shtml on the right side Multimedia menu.

He began wearing Islamic dress, a long white robe and pillbox hat, and calling himself Suleyman. His flowing robes raised some eyebrows, even in Marin County, which is deeply tolerant of almost any form of self-expression. And no matter how much he 'acted out', the parents nodded with total approval!

I smell Oprah. And it's a rank odor.
If there's any justice, he'll be beaten to death slowly before making it back to our shores. Otherwise, he'd better get his "little kick in the butt" from a few thousand helpful Americans if he manages to make it back here.
No Justice, No Peace.

I predict that whenever his trial starts, we will start seeing Johhny clean shaven, dressed like a little preppy. Presenting him as the sweet young boy next door.

Yet somehow, in fairly short order, Walker was at a Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan, using the nom de guerre Abdul Hamid, learning to fire an AK-47 and crossing paths with none other than Osama bin Laden. According to his interview with CNN, Walker fought with Pakistanis in Kashmir in the summer of 2001.He trained with Al Qaida before September 11th. Joining Al Qaida was not done out of an impulse to defend the Taliban, but to wage war against non-Muslims, worldwide. That hurts his case.
The fact that he is talking now--that helps his case. He might be useful enough that we won't kill him.

I got as far into the article as, he alone and was not "lubed", *sob*, *sob*, then my gag reflex kicked in. This weasel will show up in court looking like Biff, Bunky, or Barf, the spiffy, preppy wonder kid. gag.
