"But I'm all for contributing to a big fund to buy Rummy a whole bunch of daisy cutters, bunker busters, fae's and cruise missiles!" Rummy might very well need extras, ck the link in my #35/bttt

I doubt that the Pentagon referred to Clinton and investigations No they didn't - they (Stufflebeem) stated the simple fact that we don't have any FAE's & haven't since Gulf War. The Pentagon has protocol to follow; it's up to an informed public to read between the lines and figure out the simple fact that if, after eight years of Clinton rule, we don't have any, that, as with so many of our defenses, it's obvious Clinton failed to maintain our stockpile.

I think he sold us out to all enemy foreign powers. Many wanted the playing field leveled, and he obliged them. Don't ever believe this was about money. He's a globalist commie.

Do people hear think that Clinton was actually taking orders from a foreign power? That depends, do you think his p*nis is a maybe a Polish Sausage?

I forgot to mention, there was an AF general, Keenan or Keegan, who resigned with a blast at Jimmy Carter for not paying attention to the Soviet threat. The same JCS who later discovered the Evil Empire for Ronald Reagan shrugged Keegan (or Keenan) off as suffering from overwork.

Is a cigar considered a fuel air explosive? It depends on how close it is when you cut loose.

"...What are they to do...."
I can only speak for myself. After 26 years of active duty (1967-1993), I submitted my retirement papers. Thousands of my fellow naval officers did the same when the Toon became the "Chicken-in-Chief"

Hmmmm...curious that all of these anti-Clinton factoids are leaking out little by little over the last week or so. First the story that Clinton did nothing to get OBL even though he had several chances, then the aspirin factory lawsuit claiming the bombing was clearly a cover for Monicagate (which WE already knew) and now this...think maybe GWB is setting Clinton up for a popularity freefall one leak at a time? What will happen when the Dems find out how totally inept Clinton actually was and that, as a result, he put their sorry knee-padded dairy-aires at risk? Inquiring minds want to know...
A BLU-82 Commando Vault or 'Daisy Cutter' a 15,000 pound conventional free-fall bomb is prepared for loading in a photo released November 9, 2001. The BLU-82 is the largest conventional free-fall bomb in the United States arsenal and was recently dropped on Taliban forces in Afghanistan. The BLU-82 was originally designed to clear helicopter landing zones in Vietnam. (U.S.A.F./Reuters)

So far, this is the only statement which can be attributed to Stuffelbeem from your post. The rest seems to be from YOU. The whole post, as it stands, should have been marked as your editorial opinion.
Please tell us exactly what the Pentagon said. I have no doubt that your post is a correct interpretation of the Pentagon statement, but that is not how I like to get the news. You don't like it when the leftist media inserts editorial comment into news items.

Thanks, you guys set me straight. I knew how the FAE worked, my mistake was in thinking the Daisy Cutter was the same thing.
I wouldn't think it would take to long to make a bunch more of these. I've always been more worried about Clinton running us out of cruise missiles, he wasted lots of those, too.

.....but i also put blame on the military leaders they could have spoke upWe tried, and then were asked to resign if we didn't like the civilian leadership. The drain of experienced and dedicated Americans from DoD active duty at all levels was as staggering as the eight years of insufficient of funding, e.g. the USAF had more aircraft broken and unflyable due to lack of money to buy spare parts than you could imagine! It's scary - thank goodness we have an American in the whitehouse after eight years of a scumbag wanna-be despot!

Look at what happened to Stan Arthur, who washed out a female pilot trainee because she wasn't performing up to the standards for carrier pilots. He was quietly canned.
The other leaders took the hint.

As I note and you should know, the Pentagon briefing should become available via transcripts posted on their web site. Since this is such an incredible admission by the DoD, however, particularly in light of past reports by Washington Times and elsewhere about our running out of PGMs, etc., I wanted to post ASAP.
