I'm amazed at the disconnect of people. We will make cigarettes too expensive to buy but never outlaw them.

In NC for years (may still be true) it was against the law for minors to buy cigarettes but possession and use for minors was legal.

Appy you good and well know here in NC unless it is a convienence store chain, they don't even check the IDs for buying the things. I don't think I've seen them check but once or twice. And over in Winston-Salem(home of Winstons, Salems, Camels, and all the subsets thereof), I just know they're checking the IDs of every teen that comes into buy smokes < /sarcasm>
