LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- A national group that helped Debbie Stabenow raise $1 million last year for her successful U.S. Senate campaign said Friday that Michigan Republicans are trying block its efforts to help gubernatorial candidate Jennifer Granholm.
"It's one of the most blatant power plays that I've seen in a long time," said Ellen Malcolm, president of EMILY's List, a donor network that raises money for Democratic women candidates who support abortion rights.

Even so, this is a bad law.
My idea of campaign finance reform is that anyone can contribute any amount, but it must be public. Perhaps a list of who and how much on the web.
