Liberals have taken to using tragedy to further their ideas for the country. I didn't notice it much before X42. I think it's yet another legacy for him.

There is nothing "liberal" about these people. They are leftists/statists.

I didn't notice it much before X42. Ever heard of "The Civil Wrongs Act of 1964"(aka: "The Lawyers Full-Employment Act of 1964)? How about the "Gun Control Act of 1968"?

"Liberals" have taken advantage of the tragedy?!? What about the conservative push within the government to impose totalitarian restrictions on the individual freedoms of the citizens of this country? Don't draw lines in the wrong places: a fundamentalist is a dangerous person regardless of who they vote for.

You want dangerous, read this statement by Ashecroft:

"To those who scare peace-loving people with phantoms of lost liberty, my message is this," he said. "Your tactics only aid terrorists, for they erode our national unity and diminish our resolve. They give ammunition to America's enemies, and pause to America's friends. They encourage people of good will to remain silent in the face of evil."
