They use the sneaky way of getting around it.... The current members listed as party affiliation..... Democrats = 4; Independents = 3; Republicans = 1. Mary Berry was reappointed in Jan. 1999 so she has until Jan. 2005. If they get a split then it'll be interesting to see who gets elected Chairman. Maybe we have a Commission without a chair person.
