I can't believe that we would allow ANY of our top people to go into Afghanistan. If the trip happened, I don't believe it would be necessary to send Tenet.

Debka claimed that Tenet was in Kabul on December 2nd. However, CNN said Tenet accompanied Spann's body home from Germany on December 2nd, to Andrews AFB. And I imagine plenty of people saw him get off that plane. One would think Debka would bother to make sure of their facts before crafting their articles. And to me, the lie about the weather is just inexcusable. They COULD have had bad intel about Tenet. But making claims about the weather that arent't true? That clinches it for me - Debka just makes most of this stuff up...
