So in sum, you look to find what you are looking for, with what you are looking with? That my friend is hopeful thinking and not any valid technique of historical study. "No evidence" (silence as you call it) surely is not disproof, but it surely is not support either. I was looking for evidence of support not evidence of a null hypothesis. Have you any archeological evidence at all that the Jews were ever slaves in Egypt?
Also, evidence that a burnt mountain with calf drawings is only support that someone was there, not the Jews. Evidence exists that there was an expelling of some EGYPTIANS from Egypt around that time.
Read the account of Cornuke and learn. You seem to have "contempt before investigation." There were also 12 pillars surrounding the site. (12 tribes?) Then you have to explain the scorched mountain - there is no scientific explanation for it. Got one? It seems the evidence is in support of the biblical account.
By the way, you are the one who tried to use "silence" as evidence that the Jews were never in Egypt--and I called you on it. It's an invalid argument. Period.
