I did an internet search on this new group and found nothing, so have keyboarded this recent The Shotgun News ad in here to FR so as to establish a search engine link. This "Gun Show Protection Union" ad appears on page 219 of TSN vol 55, issue 33. I think it's a great idea. You are encouraged to please bump and ping it around to give it some legs if you agree.

Thanks for the great post. I've always approached unions with suspicion because so many of them do not have the greater interests of the membership in mind when they negotiate. Some folks think unions are great. I'm gonna view this union with the usual scrutiny, even though their goals seem to be noble.
This is a great and critical cause. If the leadership is legit and passionate about the Second Amendment, I think it will be a force to be reckoned with. Thanks again for the post.

I will take a copy of this to the Gun show this weekend and see that the WAC is informed.

Ugh, call it anything but a union.

Uhmmmmmm ?!?!? As a certifiable gun nut I have supported every pro firearms organization on the planet pretty much. SAS/Liberty Belles/GOA/JPFO/RKBA/Texas State Rifle Association etc etc . I'm also a life member of NRA but I won't brag about that till they get rid of LBJ's poster boy for the 68 GCA.
I'll throw some cash at it.........
Stay Safe !

>> 7. Lobby to get Federal Firearms License good anywhere in the US.
FFL's should remain illegal. Juries need to be lobbied on the right of jury nulification, especially unconstitutional legislation.
"A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." - Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
