3. Centralized federal registration of every vendor -- including non- gun vendors -- at any gun show in the country. In order for me to sell my BOOKS at a gun show I'll have to pre-register and prove who I am, or face arrest; a private individual looking to sell a single gun would be treated as a vendor under this law and must be registered even if the gun isn't sold;

If you actually read this bill, unless you are selling a firearm, there is no requirement for the "SPECIAL FIREARMS EVENT LICENSEE" to register anyone not selling a firearm.

4. Centralized federal registration of EVERY PERSON who attends a gun show in America, whether or not they make purchases of anything at all -- you won't be allowed in without registering;

Also incorrect, there is no provision in this bill that requires centralized federal registration of persons who are not buying firearms.

This is how our rights are eroded. People close their eyes and just let them slip away.

If you have ever attended a gunshow you may agree that the most viable place for them to do this registering is when you enter, the individual vendors are not going to do it. They do not check when you leave to see if you purchased a firearm, so the obvious point of registration would be upon entering. Even if you do not see it that way your comments still are the kinds of comments that have cost America their liberties for years. You argue that they MIGHT NOT register those who are not purchasing firearms; however, you are missing the big picture... They SHOULD NOT be registering those that ARE legally purchasing firearms!

Either way, a vote for this bill or simply just a blind eye to its existence is a vote for more gun control.

From a fellow Marine, I hope you change your mind.
